Welcome to Indipendent Tripper

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and booking of tour packages through Indipendent Tripper. By accessing our website or booking any tour package, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Definitions

"Company", "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Indipendent Tripper, the tour operator.

"Client", "You", "Your" refers to the person(s) booking tour packages with us.

"Tour Package" refers to the travel services including accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, and other services as specified in the itinerary.

"Booking" refers to the reservation of a tour package made by the client.

"Confirmation" refers to the written acceptance of booking by the company.

Booking and Payment

2.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Indipendent Tripper
  • A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment and written confirmation from us
  • The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age
  • The lead passenger is responsible for all members of the group and must ensure all information provided is accurate

2.2 Payment Terms

  • Advance Payment: 25-50% of total package cost at the time of booking
  • Balance Payment: Must be paid 7-15 days before travel date (as specified in booking confirmation)
  • For bookings made within 15 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or as agreed
  • All payments are subject to realization of funds before services are confirmed

2.3 Pricing

  • All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless specified otherwise
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice until booking is confirmed
  • Once booking is confirmed and advance payment received, the quoted price will remain fixed
  • Package prices do not include items mentioned in "Exclusions" section of itinerary
  • GST and other applicable taxes are included unless stated otherwise

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation charges are applicable as per the timeline before the tour start date:

  • 30+ days before travel: 10% of package cost (or minimum ₹2,000)
  • 21-30 days before travel: 25% of package cost
  • 15-20 days before travel: 50% of package cost
  • 7-14 days before travel: 75% of package cost
  • Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of package cost (No refund)

Travel Documents and Requirements

  • It is the client's responsibility to ensure all travel documents (ID proofs, passports, visas, permits) are valid and in order
  • For domestic travel, carry original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport)
  • For international travel, ensure passport validity of at least 6 months beyond return date
  • Clients must obtain necessary visas well in advance. We provide visa assistance but are not responsible for visa rejections
  • Special permits required for certain destinations (e.g., protected areas) must be arranged in advance
  • Failure to carry proper documents may result in denial of services without any refund

Inclusions and Exclusions

5.1 Typical Inclusions

  • Accommodation as specified in itinerary
  • Meals as mentioned (MAP: Breakfast + Dinner, AP: All Meals)
  • Transportation as per itinerary in specified vehicle
  • Sightseeing and transfers as mentioned
  • Driver allowances, fuel, parking, tolls
  • GST (as applicable)

5.2 Typical Exclusions

  • Airfare/train tickets unless specified
  • Meals not mentioned in itinerary (usually lunch)
  • Entry fees to monuments, parks, adventure activities
  • Personal expenses (tips, laundry, telephone, shopping)
  • Travel insurance
  • Any services not mentioned in "Inclusions"
  • Cost escalation due to unforeseen circumstances

Changes and Modifications

6.1 Changes by Client: Any changes to confirmed bookings (dates, hotels, itinerary) are subject to availability and may incur modification charges plus any difference in costs. Changes must be requested at least 10 days before travel.

6.2 Changes by Company: We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or services due to unavoidable circumstances (weather, strikes, natural disasters, government orders). We will provide alternate arrangements of similar or better standard. No compensation will be provided for such changes beyond what is reasonable.

6.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, etc.

Liability and Insurance

7.1 Limited Liability: Indipendent Tripper acts as an intermediary arranging various services through third-party suppliers (hotels, transport companies, etc.). We are not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by third-party service providers
  • Personal injuries, accidents, illness, or death during the tour
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Consequences of client's failure to carry proper documents or follow instructions

7.2 Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and personal accidents. Travel insurance is the client's responsibility.

7.3 Health and Fitness: Clients must ensure they are medically fit for travel, especially for adventure activities or high-altitude destinations. Consult your doctor before booking. We are not responsible for health issues arising during travel.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal information for bookings
  • Carry all necessary travel documents (ID, visa, permits, prescriptions)
  • Arrive on time at pickup/meeting points. We are not responsible for missed services due to late arrival
  • Respect local laws, customs, and cultural sensitivities
  • Behave courteously with fellow travelers, guides, drivers, and hotel staff
  • Take care of personal belongings. We are not liable for loss or theft
  • Follow safety instructions provided by guides and tour coordinators
  • Not engage in illegal activities or substance abuse during the tour
  • Inform us of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special requirements in advance

Complaints and Feedback

We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you encounter any issues during your trip:

  • Immediately contact our tour coordinator or customer support for resolution
  • Most issues can be resolved on the spot if brought to our attention promptly
  • Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of tour completion
  • We will investigate and respond to complaints within 15 business days
  • Failure to report issues during the tour may limit our ability to provide remedies

Photography and Marketing

By participating in our tours, you grant Indipendent Tripper permission to use photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you do not wish to be featured, please inform us in writing.

Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle personal data in accordance with applicable laws. Personal information collected during booking is used solely for providing services and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for service delivery. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from bookings or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Your City], India.
