Note: Cancellation charges are applicable from the date of receipt of written cancellation request.

Refund Process

Submit Cancellation Request

Send a written cancellation request via email to enquiry@indipendenttripper.com with your booking ID and reason for cancellation.

Acknowledgement

You will receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours confirming receipt of your cancellation request.

Refund Calculation

Our team will calculate the refund amount after deducting applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable components.

Refund Processing

Refund will be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of cancellation approval to the original payment mode.

Non-Refundable Components

  • • Visa application fees
  • • Travel insurance premiums
  • • Non-refundable airfare tickets (as per airline policy)
  • • Service charges and processing fees
  • • Any advance paid to third-party suppliers (hotels, transport, etc.)

Peak Season Cancellations

Bookings made for peak seasons (December-January, April-June) may attract higher cancellation charges. Specific terms will be mentioned in your booking confirmation.

Force Majeure

In case of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemic, etc.), standard cancellation policy may not apply. Refunds will be processed as per supplier policies and actual recoverable amounts.

Rescheduling / Postponement

We understand that plans can change. Instead of cancelling, you may reschedule your tour:

  • One-time free rescheduling allowed if requested 30+ days before departure
  • Subject to availability and fare difference (if any)
  • New travel dates must be within 12 months from original departure
  • Processing fee: ₹1,500 per person for domestic, ₹3,500 for international
